Navajo County Arrest Records

Navajo County arrest records are mostly accessible to the public under state laws. Arizona laws, such as the A.R.S. § 39-121 and the A.R.S. § 41-1750, govern public access to arrest records. The law requires public agencies to disclose arrest records to record seekers who meet the legal requirements. Under these laws, the public may access the following information in arrest records:

  • Personal information of the arrestee.
  • Arrest report number, date, and location.
  • Name of the arresting agency and holding facility.
  • Booking date and number.
  • Bail or bond amount.

However, public agencies may restrict public access to specific records. Arrest records are generally exempt if they contain sensitive or confidential information. For example, arrest information of juvenile offenders is exempt from public access. Other non-public arrest records include sealed or expunged information and personal information of crime victims.
